It all depends on both the level of detail you would like us to achieve and the number of rooms being designed at once.

Typically we’ve observed the timelines below:

* 3-6months: a couple of rooms re-furnishing with/without small construction (shorter LEAD on specific projects possible on a case-by-case basis)

* 6-12months: full remodeling - depends on the number of rooms and permits required

* 12 months+ : large remodeling & new construction

Whether the time has come to redesign, remodel, or build somone’s dream home, one of the first questions to ask is what level of investment one is ready to set aside to build the wished end result and to what level of details he wants the designer to execute.
Think magazine-worthy interiors? Guests to impress when entertaining? Curating furniture as collectibles, or simply as pieces built to last and tailor-made to your space?
Each and every project is unique in cost and can vary greatly from one to an other. We do tend so see a total investment per professionally designed main room range anywhere between $45,000 and $100,000+ when said and done (furniture, designer cost, tax, delivery cost, labor; excl. collectible art ).

Architect costs average 5-10% of new home budget, Contractor 10-20%, and Interior designer 5-15% for construction Design project management, compared to 20-40% of the furniture investment for full service furniture project managment.

The best moment to hire an Interior Designer in a remodeling/new construction project is very early on when he can collaborate with your Architect. This saves tremendous time and design errors.

Oftentimes homeowners don’t realize they need a designer until their contractor presses them on getting design plans, material specs, etc… to bid on a job, or know exactly what to do and build. When this happens, a job has to be put on hold to find a designer and wait for him to create a thoughtful design tailored to their new clients. This process can take at least 2-3 months.

We do have a minimum scope of 2 rooms per each project start.

We are a boutique firm and take pride in providing a concierge level service to our clients. For this reason we only take a limited amount of projects at once. If a large single project is above our current capacity and can’t be wait-listed, we are able to put together a dedicated experienced team for that particular project.
